EA já trabalha em FIFA 16 e 17

FIFA 15 ainda nem saiu e a EA já fala nos próximos dois games da série. Como a franquia tem caráter anual, é natural que a versão anterior comece a ser desenvolvida antes mesmo do game respectivo a um determinado ano ter saído. Foi exatamente isso que Peter Moore, chefão da EA, disse em entrevista ao site CVG: “Já estamos trabalhando em FIFA 16 e, em alguns momentos, em FIFA 17”, adiantou.

O processo de desenvolvimento, de acordo com o executivo, passa por duas fases. “Há duas fases [no desenvolvimento]. Há o game em si, o núcleo principal. Temos milhares e milhares de pessoas trabalhando nisso, e é um processo de desenvolvimento dividido em estágios, então já temos equipe trabalhando em FIFA 16. Acho que algumas pessoas têm a concepção errada de que, quando você finaliza um projeto e toda a equipe tira duas semanas de folga, nada acontece. Não é assim que funciona”, explicou Moore.

FIFA 17, já?

O chefão da EA disse que o planejamento em torno de FIFA 17 já está sendo feito “em alguns momentos”. “Temos desenvolvimentos paralelos [de projetos]. (...) Em alguns momentos, FIFA 17 [já está incluso], porque há desenvolvimento, engenharia e decisões técnicas que precisam ser tomadas”, concluiu.

FIFA 15 has not even came out and EA already speaks in the next two games of the series. As the franchise has an annual basis, it is natural that the previous version start being developed even before its game to a given year have left. It's not how it works, "explained Moore.

FIFA 17 already?

The boss of EA said that planning around FIFA 17 is already being done "in a few moments." "We have parallel developments [project]. (...) At times, FIFA 17 [already included] because no development, engineering and technical decisions that need to be taken, "he concluded.
